apt-file

apt-file is a search tool  of software package, can find files associated with the package and the package's installation location.

apt-file update

update the command's index of packages, the first use or after the apt-get update , you must run this command.

apt-file search file_name

Find the file which exists in the package.

apt-file list package_name

List files in packages
